Sana Habib, LMHC
Sana Habib is a compassionate therapist who helps individuals overcome anxiety, ADHD, depression, and the weight of life’s challenges using an evidence-based, practical approach to therapy. Her approach is collaborative and rooted in empathy—focused on helping clients live lives that feel authentic, grounded, and aligned with their values.
She creates a warm, nonjudgmental space where clients feel genuinely heard, empowered to explore what weighs them down, uncover unhelpful patterns, and build strategies that truly work for their lives. With a Master’s degree in Professional Counseling Psychology, Sana brings a strong academic foundation to her clinical work. Her work is guided by evidence-based approaches and the belief that each person is the expert of their own life.
Whether clients are navigating a major life transition, struggling with emotional burnout, or seeking greater self-awareness and focus, she offers guidance and support. Although her primary therapeutic modality is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)—a structured, evidence-based approach focused on identifying and changing unhelpful thought patterns, Sana is also certified in several complementary modalities that allow her to tailor treatment to each client’s unique needs. She is Gottman Method Couples Therapy Level 1 Certified, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) Certified, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) Certified, and has completed training in the Incredible Years (IY) Program and Behavioral Parent Training. This diverse background enables her to support a wide range of clients – from individuals navigating anxiety, depression, and relationship struggles to parents seeking stronger communication, emotional regulation, and connection through evidence-based parenting approaches that promote structure, understanding, and positive family dynamics.
Sana’s style is compassionate yet direct, offering a thoughtful balance of emotional insight and practical strategies that clients can apply in daily life. She provides optional between-session practices to reinforce progress and help clients build lasting habits for growth. In her sessions, clients feel genuinely heard, supported, and empowered to create meaningful change in their lives and relationships. Her clients are often ready to do the work it takes to feel more confident, connected, and in control—and Sana is deeply honored to walk alongside them every step of the way.
